The left-handed 6’3″ Point Guard made the move to the USA back in 2018 when he left United Basket Woluwe (playing in TDM2) to join Westminster Academy in Florida.

At Westminster Academy Swenson led his team to their third straight state title, getting 46 wins over the course of his 2 seasons. In his senior season he averaged 14.3 ppg, 9.2 apg & 3.5 rpg. The 17 year old has now graduated from Westminster Academy and will start his collegiate career at Stetson where he’ll be looking to continue to improve his already high basketball IQ and court vision. Despite his pass-first mentality Swenson is also blessed with a nice jumpshot and definitely knows how to fill up the basket with his solid shooting stroke.

The former member of the AWBB Academy and the one-time member of the Belgian U16 National Team who competed at the European Championship in the summer of 2017 marks yet another Belgian prospect who’ll be competing in the NCAA First division next season.

At TIB we congratulate him with his scholarship at Stetson and we’ll be sure to follow him closely throughout his collegiate career.
