After their difficult 3-4 start of the TDM1 season ION Basket Waregem have decided to release Head Coach Jan Guns. Guns came at the head of Waregem at the start of the 2020-’21 season after three years as assistant coach for Olivier Foucart.

Unfortunately the results so far this season with losses against Ieper, Royal IV, LDP Donza and Kortrijk have led to the club’s decision to release Guns from the head coaching position and to replace him with Jeroen Debaveye who comes over from their U18 team. Stoffel Castelein remains Assistant Coach.
