After the elimination against Mons, Vrenz Bleijenbergh decided to announce that he’s leaving Antwerp and he declares for 2021 NBA Draft as expected.

“17 years spent with this incredible team: Antwerp Giants .. started here when I was 4.. From the youth all the way up to the first team was a unbelievable achievement. I’m really thankful to everyone who helped me grow as a player but also as a person. Now it’s time for a new chapter and I’m really excited for what’s coming! Once again, I will say thank you to everyone who helped me during the period in Antwerp.”, says Bleijenbergh on his social medias.

During the season, several NBA scout made the trip to Belgium to see Bleijenbergh play. We can see that he’s on the radar of some NBA teams.

This season in EMBL with Antwerp he averaged 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
