Although Andy Van Vliet continues to rack up the impressive performances for Siauliai it hasn’t yet led to any wins for his team in the Lithuanian league.

This Sunday Siauliai went on the road to visit Prienai and came out strong, grabbing an early 16-27 lead in the opening quarter. But it wasn’t enough. Prienai bounced back and in an especially strong third quarter they made up for the difference to grab the 69-66 lead.

In the final quarter both teams remained close but in the end Prienai held on for the 94-87 victory and sent Siauliai home with an 0-4 record in this early going of the season.

Van Vliet got 31 minutes of playing time for Siauliai and recorded the 13 points & 13 rebounds Double-Double, his first Double-Double of the season.
