U16 Lions improve to 2-0 record

Our U16 Belgian Lions have moved to a 2-0 record at the U16 European Championship (Div. B) after defeating Slovakia (82-52) yesterday and Romania today (63-71). Our U16 Belgian Lions have moved to a 2-0 record at the U16 European Championship (Div. B) after defeating Slovakia (82-52) yesterday and Romania today (63-71).

In those 2 games it has been returnee from last summer’s U16 tournament Thijs De Ridder who has been our main performer with his 15.0 ppg & 10.0 rpg so far. Sean Pouedet is our best all-rounder so far with averages of 12.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg, 4.5 apg & 1.5 spg, while Joppe Mennes is chipping in nicely with 12.0 ppg & 6.0 rpg.

Tomorrow our youngsters go up against Finland before they get a break.
