In Game 4 of the Belgian Finals Filou Oostende managed to hold off the Kangoeroes to capture their 11th consecutive title (23rd title in the club’s history) with the 83-91 final score to take the series 3-1.

Despite BNXT MVP Levi Randolph struggling Oostende could count on an excellent Phil Booth who took over and knocked down 26 pts on 11/20 FG shooting, 4/5 FT shooting to lead the way. Dutch Point Guard Keye Van Der Vuurst De Vries also had a strong game for them and ended up with 13 pts, 5 rebs & 8 asts. And finally Belgian Youngster of the Year Haris Bratanovic also finished in double-figures scoring for BCO as he knocked down 14 pts.

The Kangoeroes had 5 players scoring in double-figures, led by Domien Loubry‘s 19 pts, followed by Myles Stephens‘ 18 pts. Shizz Alston (17 pts), Jonas Foerts (11 pts) and Mattias Palinckx (10 pts) also gave it all they had but in the end they just came up a little short to force a decisive game 5.

Both teams will now continue their season in the BNXT Playoffs where Oostende hopes to add yet another trophy to their long resumé, while the Kangoeroes will attempt to come up with their first title.
