The Belgian Cats beat Ukraine 2 days after the win against Portugal (65-87).

With the same starting 5, the Cats started the game very well in offense (17-29 after 10′).

The Cats were even up 17 in the second quarter (24-41 after 14′), but Ukraine reacted well before halftime (37-45).

The third quarter was very defensive, but our Cats were up by 10 before the last quarter (47-57).

In the last quarter, Philip Mestdagh’s team could not be stop, they scored 30 (!) points in the last quarter to grab the win (65-87).

Billie Massey was impressive with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Jana Raman scored 14 points and grabbed 14 rebounds while Julie Allemand scored 18 points.

For Ukraine, Alina Iagupova, the Euroleague MVP recorded 32 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists.

Thanks to this win, the unbeaten Cats will play the Eurobasket Women 2021 !
