After his very successful freshman season at Glenville State College in the NCAA 2nd Division, Belgian youngster with Dominican roots Steven Verplancken made himself available for transfer this off-season and quickly racked up the offers from 1st Division universities all over the country.

After careful consideration he has now elected to commit to Southern Illinois University and will continue his collegiate and athletic development with the Salukis.

At TIB we wish him all the best and congratulate him with this new challenge. A challenge in which we’re certain he will be highly successful.
