In her second (sophomore) season at Wichita State Séraphine continues to play a huge role for the Shockers as she again started every single game of her 30 total games and led the team in Rebounds (5.1 rpg) and Assists (3.5 apg), while she was second in Scoring (7.7 ppg) and in Steals (1.5 spg).
She had her best game of the season in a win at Tulsa (Feb. 23) when she recorded her only Double-Double of the season with 12 pts & 15 rebs, while she also added 4 asts & 2 stls in 32 mins of action.
The native from Dinant now has 2 more years left at Wichita State in which she hopes to progress even more and hopefully draw the attention of professional teams from around the globe once she graduates. With her own personal preference obviously being teams from the WNBA, although I do believe that she will need to increase her scoring output significantly if she wants to be able to reach that goal.
In any case, at TIB we’re definitely rooting for her.
