Quick start from Oostende, but Brussels reacted well thanks mainly thanks to his bench. After a time-out from Coach Gjergja, Oostende ended the quarter on a 3 from Gillet (14-18 atfer 10′).

Oostende started the quarter strongly with a nice and one play from Van Der Vuurst De Vries. The young point guard scored a 3 pointer to give his largest lead to Oostende (16-28 after 13′). But despite the lead, coach Gjergja was not happy with Oostende’s defense and took anther time-out (22-32 after 15′). Brussels continued to fight hard, especially with their own general Darius Washington who grabbed 2 big offensive rebounds, but Oostende could rely on their individualities to increase the gap (30-43 after 20′).

After the break, Oostende pushed the pace, but missed some easy points. Brussels continued to fought but without several players (Chol, Raymond, Moris) it was difficult to match Oostende’s depth (47-66 after 30′).

In the last quarter, Oostende easily controlled the gap, despite some talks bebtween coach Gjergja and Samir Krehic, thanks to their bench players (58-90)

For Oostende, Pierre-Antoine Gillet scored 17 points in 20 minutes, Mario Nakic added 13 points and 7 rebounds in 17 minutes while Michael Gilmore had 10 points and 7 rebounds.

For Brussels, Pavle Djurisic recorded 17 points and 7 rebounds, Darius Washington added 8 points.
