Okapi Aalst has strengthened itself for the first season of the BNXT League with 27-year-old American Omar Calhoun. The 1m98 small forward comes over from the Ukrainian Ternopil Tneu. There he averaged 17 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3 assists.

Previously, he played for Connecticut Huskies (2012-2016), Espoo United (2016-2018), Cantu (2018-2019), Stal Ostrow (2019-2020), Kataja (2019-2020) and Atomeromu (2019-2020). At Aalst, he is expected to replace the injured Shevon Coleman
