Coleman is another youngster from Leopoldsburg who has left Belgium early on as he moved to the States in 2017 to join Sunrise Academy. He spent 2 solid seasons at the renowned academy to earn himself a scholarship at the University of San Diego (NCAA) where he started his collegiate career this season.

As a freshman Coleman’s minutes have been limited throughout the season for the Toreros as he averaged only 9.4 mpg in a total of 24 games played. He still managed to do a solid job as he averaged 2.4 ppg, shooting 35% on his 3s and 91% from the charity stripe. He recorded 2 double-figure scoring games in 2 consecutive games at Colorado (Nov. 16) and against San Diego State (Nov. 20). In both games he knocked down a season-high 10 pts. He had one of his best overall games in a win against Holy Cross (Dec. 7) when he finished with 8 pts, 2 rebs, 5 asts & 1 stl in 19 minutes of action.
