Led by 50 points at halftime, unseen in NBA history, the Los Angeles Clippers were swept 124 to 73 by the Mavericks.

Without Kawhi Leonard, the Clippers were quickly overwhelmed by the Mavs. The Mavericks were already leading by 23 after the first quarter. They reached the break with a stratospheric lead of 50 points (77-27), a record at halftime in NBA history .

After the break, the Clippers seemed to react by scoring 10 points in a row but it was just a stab in the dark (124-73).

Luka Doncic recorded 24 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Tim Hardaway Jr scored 18 points and Josh Richardson 21 points. For the Clippers, Paul George scored 15 points.

Prior to this game, the Mavericks had lost their first two games of the season, while the Clippers had two wins.

First win for the Knicks

First win of the season for the New York Knicks. They defeated the Milwaukee Bucks at the Madison Square Garden (130-110).

Julius Randle recorded 29 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists for the Knicks. Elfrid Payton scored 27 points.

For the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo had a double-double: 27 points and 13 rebounds.

It is the first win for Tom Thibodeau with the Knicks.
