Congratulations to Hubo Limburg United for capturing their first ever trophy in the club’s history!

They are the 2021-’22 Belgian Cup Winner.

In an excellent game and great atmosphere Oostende seemed in control throughout 3 quarters, leading it 52-56 headed into the final quarter. In that final quarter Limburg did what no one really expected. They closed the gap and took the lead, largely thanks to an unstoppable Tyrell Nelson who recorded 32 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and deservedly got the MVP award.

When Gjergja got hit with his second technical and had to leave the court, Limburg United took the driver’s seat and held on throughout the final minutes thanks to cold-blooded FT shooting by Delalieux for the 79-73 win.
