  • Next up came the season opener for Jonathan Tabu and Manresa as they faced Estudiantes on the road and came away with the 84-88 victory. Tabu came off the bench to record 10 pts (3-8 FG’s), 1 reb & 2 asts in 20 minutes of action.

  • And finally it was time for Sam Van Rossom to get his season started as Valencia faced Baskonia on the road. Despite very sloppy play by Valencia (28 turnovers in the game) they managed to cut down a 15 point deficit. With 8 seconds left in the game Van Rossom tied the score 73-73 on a pair of free-throws but unfortunately for him Baskonia came back with a nice drive by Henry and the kick-out for a corner three by Vildoza to give them the 76-73 victory. Van Rossom played a total of 23 minutes and recorded 12 pts (2-3 FG’s, 6-6 FT’s), 4 rebs, 3 asts & 1 stl.
