Leuven beats Limburg, wins for Aalst and Charleroi in Euromillions Basketball league.

Leuven won at home against Limburg United (35-37 and 79-68) thanks to another big game from Ryan Kriener (28 points and 6 rebounds).

After big game, Spirou Charleroi won at the end of the suspense at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp (74-77). Charleroi started the game strongly and had a 7 points avantage after the first quarter. Antwerp relied on the talent of Sterling Gibbs (18 points) to stay in touch at the break (34-38). The two teams did not let go after the locker room and in a final with suspense, it’s Charleroi’s captain, Alex Libert, 25 points including 10 in a row in the last minutes, who allowed the Carolos to win (74- 77). Aalst took a little time to start for its third straight meeting against Liège. The visitors started off with a bang (17-30) but the Aalstois reacted quickly (45-39 at the break) to finally win 91-80 thanks to 20 points from Cameron McGriff.

In the standings, Antwerp remains in the lead with 11 wins for 4 defeats. Follow Mons (11-3), Ostend (10-3), Aalst (8-6), Louvain (6-9), Charleroi (6-9), Mechelen (7-6), Brussels (4-12) , Limburg United (6-7) and Liège (3-13)
