There have already been several changes announced for the Top Division Men 1 teams. There have already been several changes announced for the Top Division Men 1 teams. Here’s a little overview:

Oxaco Boechout: after a tough season Oxaco sees a couple of their players leaving the club as Maarten Van Gelder is retiring and will coach Oxaco’s U21 team and their 2nd team. Yannick Schoepen will join the Kontich Wolves and Thibaut Vervoort is headed to Melsele. So far there has only been one new arrival as Vincent Peeters comes over from the Antwerp Giants to make his return in TDM1.

Basics Melsele-Beveren: coaching staff Dave Van Den Brande and Yorick Weyn remain at the helm of the club who have also confirmed the stay of Jens Bouckaert, Geoffrey Hockins, Mitchel Gorremans, Leroy Anthonis and Vincent Vanden Berghe. Zed Peeters is transferring out to join Phantoms Boom. Confirmed newcomers are Enoch Derby who comes over from Phantoms Boom and the earlier mentioned Thibaut Vervoort.

Gembo Borgerhout: Head Coach Glenn De Boeck has announced his departure from the club and will be replaced by Tom Van Den Bosch. Anthony Goetgeluck, Sam Renier, Yordi Braet, Laurens Van Den Hemel, Tomas Goethaert, Nils Van Rompaey, Rafaël Bogaerts, Yordi Spoelders and Bryan De Valck are all staying put.

Gent Hawks: the Hawks have announced several new arrivals so far as Giel Vanthournout comes over from Waregem, while Janik Van Impe comes over from Sijsele. Arno De Decker also joins the squad and will make his return to TDM1 basketball. Robin Mestdagh leaves the club after 2 seasons to rejoin Melco Ieper, the club of his hometown.

Royal IV Brussels: has announced the arrival of three newcomers as Rafaël Morini comes over from the Kangoeroes, Anael Ahanda comes over from Anderlecht and finally Jonathan Kabangu has left Woluwe to return back to TDM1 after several years in TDM2. Ritchi Mundende who joined the club late in the season leaves and has signed with Willebroek in TDM2. Laurent Falmagne is also stepping down as he joins Bavi Vilvoorde.
