After bouncing around several European basketball leagues these past couple of seasons (Italy, Austria & Czech Republic), the 29 year old explosive guard now seems to have found his place in Switzerland as he’s now in his second season with Winterthur. He joined the squad last season round Christmas and brought them from being at the bottom of the standings in the Swiss 3rd Division to reaching the playoffs and the promotion to the Swiss 2nd Division for this season.

And what a season Torreborre is having so far! In his first 5 games Torreborre is averaging 21.8 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 7.6 apg & 2.6 spg in 35.6 mpg. This past weekend he exploded against Villars and helped his team to their 4th win in 5 games by dropping the 13 pts, 12 rebs & 13 asts triple-double and added 3 steals as well, just for good measure. He is without a doubt the main reason why his team is currently residing in second place in the standings, behind only Pully.
