Euroleague: Valencia wins it at the buzzer thanks to a shot from Klemen Prepelic (76-74) !

Valencia won at the end of the suspense Thursday night against Efes Istanbul (76-74) during the 13th day in the Euroleague basketball.

Sam Van Rossom’s teammates struggled to enter the match. Quickly led 9-19, the Spaniards reacted thnaks to Mike Tobey (21 points and 8 rebounds) and they took the lead just before half-time (40-38).

After the break, the visitors came back very strong on the floor in the wake of Chris Singleton (12 points) and Vasilije Micic (16 points).

Thanks to a big third quarter (14-22), Efes took the lead after 30 minutes (54-60).

Valencia managed to equalize (66-66) with five minutes to go.

With only 4 seconds left, it was Klemen Prepelic who offered the win to Valencia with the buzzer beater (76-74). Valencia already won the game against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the last seconds a couple of weeks ago.

Belgian Lion Sam Van Rossom ends the game with 5 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists in 23 minutes.

Next Wednesday, the Spaniards will travel to Greece to face Olympiakos. In the standings, Valence appears with a record of 8 wins for 5 defeats and goes back to 4th place.
