After Minister Ben Weyts decided to put sport on code “orange” yesterday, Valerie Glatigny, the sports minister in federation Wallonia-Brussels, decided today to ban all inside contact sports from October 15 until the autumn school holidays.

It means that all the championships over the category U12 in Wallonia and in Brussels will be stopped with immediate effect until, at least, the autumn school holidays. It is still possible to train indoor alone or without contact. All the locker rooms need to be closed.

All the championships are now stopped in Belgium with exception of profesionnal teams. Euromillions Basketball teams will receive a derogation if they can apply some extra measures.
