After his big performance against Oldenburg, Elias Lasisi was once again very important for his team. The Belgian Lion scored 17 points on 6-for-6 (5-5 3Pt) shooting to help Crailsheim outlast Braunschweig. It is a big win for Crailsheim and Elias Lasisi.

Tuomas Iisalo, the headcoach of Crailsheim: “Congratulations to our players. They were very focused in this game from the very first moment. We, the coaches, had the feeling that it would be a difficult game for us. Not only because Bogdan Radosavljevic wasn’t here today, but also because Braunschweig is coached very well, is physically strong and plays fast, like us. We won the first quarter 30 to 10 and after the great first quarter we kept our rhythm quite well. We only had a few problems with Braunschweig’s pressure and turnover. Of course, it’s difficult to keep focus when you’re 30 points ahead. But that was a very good game for my team and I am very proud of the performance today.

Crailsheim is the good surprise in Basketball Bundesliga this season. Elias Lasisi’ team sits at the 5th place but tied with Euroleague teams Alba Berlin and Bayern Munchen, Hamburg and Ludwigsburg for the first place.
