Antwerp beats Nancy, in a friendly game in Vittel (70-81).

With most of his new signings (Matthew Tiby was out and Markel Brown on limited minutes), Antwerp played a friendly game against Nancy (Pro B, France).

If Nancy started the game strongly (10-3 after 5′), the entry of Elvar Fridriksson changed the game. The point-guard was Antwerp’s leader. At half-time Antwerp was in front (37-39). In the second half, Christophe Beghin’s team showed his strength to grab the win (70-81).

Elvar Fridriksson was the MVP of the game with 17 points, 11 assists and 3 rebounds and most importantly a plus/minus of +33! Former NBA player, Markel Brown showed an example of what he could do with 13 points in only 10 minutes. Roby Rogiers added 13 points in 16 minutes.
