In his second year at Iowa Lakes Men’s Basketball the Brussels native Kikwaki has clearly made quite a lot of progress as he saw his numbers rise from 3.8 ppg & 3.3 rpg in 11.8 mpg last year to 9.6 ppg & 5.1 rpg in 20.0 mpg this year.

Although Kikwaki continued to come off the bench for the Iowa Lakes Lakers (he had only 3 starts this season) his impact on the court has been significant for the team that put down a very solid 26-6 record over the course of the season. Kikwaki was especially feeling it in early January when he was named the ICCAC Player of the Week after dropping 16 pts & 9 rebs in the win against Southwestern and then followed it up with a season-high 27 pts & another season-high 3 blks in the win against Dakota County Tech.

The season ended for the Iowa Lakes Lakers in the Region XI Semi-Finals which they lost to Des Moines Area CC despite a double-double by Kikwaki who ended up with 15 pts & 11 rebs to conclude his sophomore season in the NJCAA 2nd Division.
