Antwerp beats Mons, Oostende still undefeated

Antwerp beats Mons, Oostende still undefeated, in the BNXT League.

Antwerp won at home against Mons (73-62) at the Lotto Arena. In the other game of the evening, Oostende won against Aalst (89-84).

After a neck-and-neck race, Antwerp made the difference to take a lead at halftime (19-19 and 41-31). Thanks to the duo Rogiers-Tiby , the Giants continued their dominance after the break to take a 15-point lead (57-42) and win the game 73-62. Roby Rogiers was the top scorer of the game with 19 points.
In the other game of the evening, Ostend won, with some difficulty, at home from a tough Aalst. Only in the final minutes of the game did the defending champions make the difference (47-48 and 89-84) to remain unbeaten in the league. Ivan Maras finished the game as top scorer with 18 points, Levi Randolph scored 16 points.

In the standings, Ostend remains in the lead with 4 wins against no losses. Dario Gjergja’s team is followed by Antwerp (3-1), Mons (3-1), Leuven (2-2), Charleroi (2-2), Aalst (1-3), Mechelen (2-0), Brussels (1-2), Limburg United (0-4) and Liege (0-3).
